
Clatt Village Hall
Clatt Village Hall is owned by the community and run by a small committee. The land was gifted to the village in 1953 for the purposes of erecting a hall.
There is a lawn area at the front which is an ideal space and extension to the hall.
The hall is situated beside a well-maintained recreation ground which includes an excellent children's playground and ample parking. The main hall seats 90 people with an extra 30 people standing/dancing etc. The smaller meeting room which is adjacent to the main hall (sliding door in between) can be hired separately or used as an overflow from the main hall. From the smaller meeting room there is a door that leads out to the pretty garden/lawn area with benches and chairs - perfect for entertaining.
The kitchen has been recently refurbished and is well equipped with fridges, cooker, dishwasher, microwave, tea urns, soup kettle, crockery, cutlery and glasses. There is a serving hatch through to the smaller meeting room.
There is an additional preparation room with a sink, fridge and freezer.
The main hall has double doors which open onto the recreation ground. Toilets are situated at the end of the building together with a shower room.
Additional facilities for hire include a stage, lighting, sound system and a BBQ.
The hall has often been used for family gatherings, parties, dances, meetings, concerts and exercise classes.
Library
The Library is open on the first Saturday in the month 9.30am -10.30am for everyone to enjoy.Please check with the Events section. The Library is in a separate building in the grounds and can also be hired for meetings.
